Our timber buildings are supported by foundation pillars which rise above the surface to support the frame posts, this means buildings can be on non-level sites.
Through the installation, all that we require from you is access to a power socket.
We use the highest quality Breather Membrane (Powerlon SupaPerm) which is a high performance underlay designed especially for use with timber frame construction, to maximise energy efficiency, control ventilation and prevent heat loss.
For insulation, we use Earthwool (manufactured by Knauf Insulation) throughout the walls, floor and roof – an environmentally friendly product which offers excellent sustainability and environmental performance. Made from rapidly renewable organic materials, it will help to keep the building cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Our timber buildings are designed to last for at least 30 years. To maintain the look of your building , it will need a simple clear waterproof treating every 4-5 years (or repainting if you have a paint finish). The doors and windows will need treatment every 2 or 3 years. The felt tiles have a life expectancy of approximately 15 years.
The best guarantee is to buy the right building, from the right company, from the start. This means that the building is well designed and constructed, uses the best materials available and that your supplier will be there in the future to provide aftercare service and advice.
We believe in our products and our timber buildings are designed to last for at least 30 years, by virtue of having treated external solid wood framing and tongue and grooved cladding. We also offer a guarantee on all components for a period up to two years. In the unlikely event that a problem should occur we assess each case on an individual basis and offer solutions to resolve the issue quickly and effectively.
Our timber buildings are designed to ensure that they will not need planning permission in the majority of cases. If your local authority does require an application we can provide a full service to produce, submit and monitor any type of planning application.
